Haverfordwest is the county town of Pembrokeshire

Explore Pembrokeshire's ancient county town-- Haverfordwest. The town is a shopping centre with many high street names as well as a number of unique, independent shops. Haverfordwest also hosts a Farmers Market on the riverside every Friday. One attraction in town is the ruins of Haverfordwest Castle. Only the outer shell remains of this once great castle, but inside the castle grounds is the Haverfordwest Museum and County Archives. Also nearby are the recently restored ruins of an Augustinian Priory. Other historical attractions include the 18th century Foley House and the Gorsedd Circle. There is so much history to explore in Haverfordwest.
