It technically counts as part of the equipment, but campers should never underestimate the usefulness and valuableness of a good first aid kit, especially when going on a family camping trip. The larger the party is, the more important it is to have kit that covers all the basics and more. Young children are prone to picking up scrapes and scratches from all manner of things, so parents would be safe to assume that accidents are a very distinct possibility; depending on where you’re going, you won’t necessarily have access to first aid and therefore need to supply the plasters, insect repellent, bandages, disinfectant and any personal medications you or your family might need. https://www.facebook.com/CampingAndCaravanning
