Llangollen – a lovely small town in Denbighshire, North Wales

Experience the outdoors when you stay in Llangollen. Visitors can ride the white water, climb high above the valley and cycle along many challenging trails. There are walks to suit those of all ages and abilities set in beautiful scenery. Llangollen also hosts many wonderful festivals, including the International Musical Eisteddfod and Fringe festivals in July, the Food Festival in October and the Christmas Festival at the end of November. There is also the Llangollen Railway to see, which goes for 7 1/2 miles upstream, following the River Dee to the village of Carrog.
